Bio
With a commitment to honesty, ethics, and extensive experience, Peter Dunne has been an active participant in the renewable energy market since 2008. Drawing from his background in financial services, where he spent eight years, Peter made a bold move to the US in 2009. There, he played a pivotal role in establishing a solar EPC start-up in the North Jersey market, quickly adapting and learning the ropes of developing a sales platform from scratch.

Peter honed his expertise through his work with various solar sales companies, ranging from large national firms to regional and local providers. Over a span of 15 years, he immersed himself in the alternative energy space, building a solid reputation for his accurate, honest, and ethical approach to presenting solar solutions.

Peter's proficiency lies in his ability to provide precise information. In the early days, generating a proposal would consume an extensive amount of time—20 to 25 hours. Today, with advancements in technology, he can complete the same task in a mere 15 minutes. With over six years of experience using the Aurora solar design software, Peter stands out as one of the most experienced and adept consultants in solar modeling and design. His substantial portfolio of operational projects allows him to meticulously assess his estimates against real production data.
By creating accurate 3D models of sites and meticulously measuring the irradiance of solar arrays, Peter can swiftly and accurately simulate conditions for each project. This attention to detail ensures that homeowners can make informed evaluations of their solar investments, as accurate production information is paramount.

Peter's dedication to professional excellence is evident in his achievement of the NABCEP Certification for PV Technical Sales. Remarkably, he is one of only 18 professionals in the North East Territory (DE 1, PA 7, NJ 2, CT 2, NY 6) to hold this prestigious accreditation. When it comes to technical aspects, Peter shines. Unlike many solar professionals, he possesses an in-depth understanding of the nuances between hardware options, be it modules, inverters, or the balance of system components. This expertise is particularly crucial in the realm of solar tied battery systems, an intricate field where experience is vital to properly sizing batteries to align with homeowners' desired backup loads.
